No mauser collection is complete without this beast.
Hit up a google search to learn a little about it - as it turns out it really wasn't much of a tank killer, but a cool looking piece.

Just don't plan on shooting it. According to wikipedia and other sources it often broke the collar bone or dislocated the shoulder of the shooter.

Explains why it was a two man served weapon. If you think the gun is expensive, check the price on a loaded round,...if you can find one!
I know somebody that has one and wants to shoot it, if he can find ammo. I'll bring a video camera, and maybe an EMT.

Hmm - I went ahead and made an offer on it, it's a consignment sale - but I imagine it is a select and rather limited market of gun-nerds who are looking for this rifle - I have no self control.

I did find one round for sale, it looked pretty salty, but it was less than $100, lol.
