anyone know a good website that will ship to CA. Also do I have to be home when they drop it off. I'm not home often so that would be a plus. Really looking for sks ammo mosin ammo and some 8x56r ammo.

Century Arms. However if you are not home, do you really want them leaving a bunch of ammo outside the door? Anyone who steals it will know what guns you have in the house.

Sign up for MyUPS.com and you can tell UPS to hold the package for you to come pick it up at the local depot. Much safer.

Do the google search thing. Use words like bulk, surplus, then put 7.62x39.

For the 8X56R go to the CMP FORUMS, parts for sale, ammunition. Seller MOONLITIN has 10 rd boxes on clips delivered for less than $1 a round. I got 4 boxes from him and they were nice and rust and corrosion free. Also check out 8X56R.com. Found some local and they wanted $39.95 a box of 10. For the others try AIM and J&G Sales.

SGAmmo and JG Sales both ship to California. I bought some 7.62x54r on clips from JG, and bought spam cans from SGAmmo. Never had any issues with either of them.

If it was me, if you find someone with bulk non-corrosive 7.62X39 in stock, don't screw around, just buy it.
