    Steyr M95 Bolt

I recently acquired a Steyr M95 and love it, however the bolt works real hard.
I've put several different types of lubericans (silcon spray, gun oil ect) on it and it still takes a lot muscle to get open. Does anyone have some suggestions or just the Steyr M 95 carbine?

When you bolt it are you shouldering it? I found its easier if its actually held like you were going to shoot it,I have not fired mine because I cannot find ammo

Need to take bolt apart and polish firing pin, cam surfaces, lug leads, use moly on cam/wear surfaces.

        ^^ +1

Also, M.95 bolts prefer grease rather than oil.

I have an unimmaginable amount of 8x56r.

Few dozen Nazi marked clips with ammo.

          Not for sale.

You can find the ammo but you will pay out the arse for it. I came across a guy that was liquidating his collection. I bought a ton of ammo from him.

I believe that your problem may be an issue with the tail of the extractor being worn are dinged. I will try to find a link on this, but it has been years since I dealt with it. There are a couple of parts that get worn out of true on these, and once they are out of spec, it is a bear to get the bolt to open/close. My only infantry rifle of this model is like that, and I can't open the bolt without re-cocking the rifle first. I picked it up long after I lost the link last time, and have not gotten around to finding it again. Try a google search on the extractors.

You can buy the Prvi Partizan Ammo from AIM for $19.95 a box of 20.

Midway and Ammo To Go also carry it, but for a little more. Available in FMJ and soft point.
It is brass cased, boxer primed and so is reloadable.

Yes, it is $1/rnd but seriously, you are a better man than I (person in OHOD's case) if your shoulder can take more than two clips of that 1938 Nazi ammo without a recoil pad or massage therapy.
Just buy one or two boxes and shoot it first before stockpiling ammo.

If you gotta have it, I will straight trade you a 10rnd box of the Nazi stuff on clips for a 20rnd box of the Prvi - but just one!

You could also check Buymilsurp.com, I think they had some 1930's stuff on clips a little while back.

                            What doesn't look legitimate?

To me, it just looks like a site that has never been completed.
