Yep, the Place to Shoot range is open, no problems. I picked up a barreled receiver many, many years ago that turned out to be an NRA sporter. It had the Lyman 48 sight and scope blocks on the barrel and receiver for the old time Unertel type tube. I bought it for $15 and put it into an 03A3 stock and metal. Didn't know what I had until I traded it away. I found it laying on the floor of the little gun shop I frequented as a teenager. Wonder what happened to the rest of it? Just another piece I should never have traded off.Comment

Man! You've got some really nice toys. My dad has a minty M2. I'll have to grab a picture of it some time.
For the record, I believe the Holy Grail is, in fact, this rifle. Nicer than the one in the NRA museum by quite a bit.
