    Nazi assault rifle!

You know how people abuse terms like "Nazi" and "assault rifle?" Well, kudos to the media for using the terms correctly:

I hope its papered, otherwise it is worth a prison sentence for having an illegal machine gun.

It isn't papered but she probably has amnesty due to the whole gun buyback thing. It will more than likely be transferred to an NFA dealer.

Glad the officers had the integrity to tell her what she really had. Man that rifle is worth quite a bit a change and the history behind it is priceless! Glad that rifle is going to be saved from the chopping block and enjoy it's ray of glory.

I'm sure you'll see a lot through the scope on full auto.

My favorite Axis gun on Day of Defeat!

It'd be cool to have a real one.

                          ..and a MG42. haha.

Librarian just closed another post on this same buy back

I have got to believe that there are a ton of class III war trophies from WWII that were not registered in 1968.

What do you do when u inherit a 10 year federal felony- non NFA registered item???

Sad as it is, no piece of metal and wood is worth losing 10 years of your life along with all your rights.

Hopefully they can save this stg44, a museum or something - somehow
