I have a Spanish Ruby in good shape ascetically but after firing the first round it may slam fire (all the remaining rounds in the mag). I have no need for a non-functional firearm as I'm not a collector.
Should I sell it or keep it? It's not worth very much. But as a parts gun could be quite valuable (but I'm not going to go through the effort of selling it piece by piece). I could not live with myself to break this thing up. If I were to sell I think I would ask for $80-100. The (2) magazines alone are probably worth $70-80.
Firearm details:
Maker: FABRIQUE D'ARMES de GUERRE
Model: RUBY
Post WWI, 1920's? (not an issued French Sidearm, "Made in Spain" export stamp)
Another bad part is that it's not all original. I fashioned some rosewood 1911 grips to the firearm as it was missing grips when I obtained it (the screw holes were almost an exact match).

It's a cool gun to have around - but - I'm not a collector (of anything)
