I've called a few places in the area and checked websites for several others with no luck. I read about Big 5 transferring inventory. When I called they said I would need to know what store had them available because they have no way to search across all stores at once, just one at a time.

Does anyone know where I might find one for sale?

Im not sure lol i dont live in the PRK anymore, but they always seem to get large shipments of whatever everyone else is getting

Newtown Firearms in placerville had a bunch last time I was there. But I got mine years ago at Rancho Guns

River City had Chinese /26\ and a DDR Tula last time I was there.

Sts in folsom had a china sks . There is also a very nice looking Russian at Lincoln gun exchange$500

One of the gun people at Big5 in canoga park managed to find 5 of them at other stores for me...He even tried to find me the best one to transfer over the phone...I bet if you called him he might remember where they are

I also saw a guy on this forum say there was one at the Big5 In Ventura

I saw one for sale at STS Guns in Folsom on Sunday. I think it was consignment and their inventory turns pretty quickly so you might call first. I'm not an SKS expert, but I think this one was Chinese.

rivercity had 3 or 4 sks's as of last tuesday, chinese and yugos no russians that i saw. The owner of the non refurb Tula I know of wants an arm and a leg for it. I think he priced it high enough to be for sale but not actually sale it. I think he wants $800 for it, we all know its high but we also know refurbs sale for $500 and as much as $700. Its a Non refurb and if you have been in the gun game for a while should know that all these new to SKS guys who bought these cheap chinese will soon want more and more which means supply goes down demand goes up. In a year it will be worth more than today thats for sure. Im not buying it for $800 its over priced!
