I recieved my HRA Service grade garand today. It has an HRA Bolt and an LMR Barrell with a muzzle reading of H. Can somebody shed a little bit of light on the LMR barrel. The gun is in really nice shape with a new CMP stock.

Congratulation. Remember to post the obligatory pics.
LMR barrel Birmingham, AL are very good barrels and known for their quality/accuracy. They were installed on IHC and some on HRA (like your rifle). They are accurate barrels and IMO more accurate than any barrels SA, WRA & HRA made. In fact from my experience, it is just behind the darling of all barrels VAR.
As far a MW, it should not be an alpha but numerical number like 0 for .30, 1 = .301, 2= .302, 3 = .303 etc. Where did you see the "H" from the hang tag? -

You should post your HRA over on the CMP Forum. They have a special listing for HRA Garands that have LMR barrels on them.

Sounds like a good catch, MW=1+ LMR. That's near new.
What's the chamber reading?

Yep, Very nice indeed. Near new.
Testing has found that chambers wear at a rate of ~ 0.001 (One gauge number) per 2,000 rounds fired, the muzzle at a rate ~ 1/3rd that.
So, if it starts losing its accuracy at something like ME=3/TE=8...?
There is a good 10-12,000 rounds of shooting in that Barrel, and LMR makes a very good one.
Clean it, Grease it, Shoot it...
(and please post some nice pics)
