    Broken Mosin 91/30 ejector/interruptor spring

I picked up my 1942 Tula Mosin 91/30 the other day and besides cycling the bolt and a few dry fires the gun hasn't been used at all since I picked it up from turners. I disassembled it today to try and get out all the cosmoline and when i took off the reciever etc I noticed a loose part, the ejector/ interruptor spring was broken in half. Should I see if Turner's will give me a free one (picked it up from them thursday)? Also what would have caused this/ is it a common problem? I took it apart by the book, nothing had to be forced. So I'm assuming it was broken when I got it.

I'd call them about it, I doubt they just have extra MN parts around, but they may let you take one off another... maybe.

Personally, I'm pretty impatient. If Turners could give me immediate satisfaction great, if not I'd just order another online, they're not expensive.

The part is too cheap and too easy to replace. I'd just get the replacement.

Though the big worry is what kind of force was involved to break such a simple part.
