    Type 56 Stock treatment

    ok so here she is All cleaned and conditioned. So first I took some 220 Grain and just gently went over the wood. Then cleaned it with Murphy's Wood Soap, then after that just added one coat of lemon oil. I think it turned out great. All the nicks, dents, and marks are still in the stock, all the cosmo is out, the wood is cleaned, and has some conditioning to it now. All the original shellac and patina is still there just like I got it. I love the fact that it looks just like in it's original form and no damage was done to it.
