Pics- Another SKS From Classic- UPDATED

Finally the big brown machine delivered my SKS from Classic after driving all over So Cal for the last 2 days.

Ordered a 'pick for condition'. Initial thought right out of the box is, satisfied. The bluing looks almost new. The stock is beat to snot but I think it will clean up pretty decent.

/26\ 306xxxx. Matching receiver/cover, bolt, magazine, Stock may be matching but need to clean it up to for sure verify. Trigger guard is non-matching.

Couple pics right out of the box. Gun was wrapped just fine.

Hopefully mine will look as good acceptable as yours.

Nice. I wish I held on to my Norinco. Those rifles are so much fun.

Man, that is some sweet looking metal. The stock has a lot of "character"!

In any case, I guess a Tapco T6 stock (and some extras to make the rifle 922r compliant) could be a solution to avoid beating up that stock further. Although it doesn't look like Tapco makes those fixed SKS mags anymore.

Actually these were aid rifles and most of these were used for training, drilling, and general military exercises.

Very nice OP, she will be a great shooter

Will spend some time this weekend sweating out that stock. Well, maybe after the rains leave.

But these stocks look like they caught fire and put it out with an ice pick.

As long as the stock is intact it will be fine as is. I don't think putting an aftermarket stock on these old rifles is a good thing.
