another Chinese SKS

Here is my sks that just arrived straight from Century. It appears to be all matching #230385

Some interesting marks on the stock an "X" in two different places and it looks like hash marks next to the one behind the receiver

This will be a fine shooter and pretty to look at once it has a bath and some TLC. From my perspective the bluing looks pretty good and the stock seems serviceable as well.

Pics don't do it justice. The flash definitely washed out a bit of the bluing, I'm sure it would look 10x better in actual daylight. Going to guess at 75 percent bluing. Came with the cleaning rod but nothing in the trap door(single hole in buttplate)

This one stays pure, no refinish ever, just cleaning.

It makes me want to order another But I doubt I'll get as lucky as this first year production(1956) and all matching beauty

Yeah nice looking china doll! Once she is cleaned up she will be looking and shooting like a champ. Have fun giving her a bath

I literally laughed when the gas piston came out with that glob of cosmo.

All parts accounted for and in great shape, now for a mineral spirit bath for the metal. Wish it was still summer so I could just stick the stock in my truck...
