C&R license

So I applied for my C&R a few weeks ago and sent off an email to see if they could give me an update. I got an email back today stating that it was issued 11/15 and mailed 11/16. The thing is my mail has been on hold and it ended Saturday 11/24. When they told me it had been mailed I figured it would come any day now. Today the big packet came but still no C&R. Has anyone had their license show up after they got the big packet?

Edit 12/5: I checked & double checked with the post office and they claim that all of my held mail was delivered already. Does anybody know ATF policy for issuing replacement licenses, specifically for those lost in mail?

Yep, mine came after the packet.

My particular post office screws up with holds. I will get the rest of my mail a week after the hold expires. Sometimes longer. I have a feeling your license is still sitting at the post office.

My license came, then the packet showed up two weeks afterwards (yesterday). But I had no Post Office hold on my mail though.

I sent off my app right before Thanksgiving and the 30$ fee charged to my bank account yesterday. Any estimate on how long before license comes??

Mine took about 2 months.

60 to 70 days seems to be average.

18 days for mine back in Sept. ... I sent the application in 11-Sept.-12 and received the license 29-Sept.-12 and 1 week later the info pack Remember that you don't sign the original license. Make copies of it and sign those to send off to dealers/private parties and keep the original pristine and unblemished ! I could have saved $1+postage if I had known that before I signed my first original

So still no license going on three weeks since they mailed it. My address was correct on the app and it was confirmed with Ms. Henkelman. I had been in contact with Catherine Henkelman but her phone now has an out of office message until next week. Does anyone have another contact that may help. I'm just trying to find out if they can track it, check to see if it got returned to sender, or if they can send another.

That sucks. I mailed mine off the day of the elections and am waiting for mine. I already got two. C & R's on layaway. Hope it gets here soon.

I hope you looked at your mail carefully. I don't know if they still mail them this way but mine was in a plain light blue envelope that I initially thought was a piece of junk mail.

I've opened everything with my name on it even the obvious junk mail to make sure.
