    Renewing C&R License

    Hello all,

Got the renewal forms for my C&R license a few days ago, can't believe it has been three years already... Anyway, my location is set to my home in Fontana, does anyone know who the CLEO is for my location? I can't remember if I did the Chief of Police for Fontana Police, or the CLEO for County of San Bernardino Sheriffs' office. Thanks.

Who shows up when you dial 911 from your house???

Just look up the Cities web site and find out that way. What did you do the last time concerning your license? Hmm? http://www.fontana.org/ http://www.fontana.org/index.aspx?NID=185

Let it lapse and reapply, then you can round file your bound book and start over.

I wonder how much it really matters as long as you list one and send it to them? You can always call the main number for either law enforcement agency and give them your address and ask who it should go to.

It was just this past Friday I sent my renewal into BATFE. On the same day I went to my local CLEO and handed the officer a copy of my renewal and asked that it was for the Chief. This was not my first time to renew. That's all you have to do. Just be sure on your renewal you have the date of when you gave the CLEO a copy. That's all there is to it. Just be sure to read the renewal questions carefully and answer correctly as well. And don't worry, the CLEO's don't bite.

Thanks all, this renewal is for my second application already because I let the first expire since I wasn't buying anything with it, so I didn't remember which CLEO I sent it to, but I'll send it to the Fontana police chief this time... I seem to recall that's who I sent it to the first time also...

              Thanks.
