Sequential M1 Garand Receivers

I spotted these over on gunbroker...

$2500 reserve may sound steep, but you could go your entire life trying to find a matched pair and not succeed.

Sequential serial #s isn't that big a deal, BUT...those two happen to be 4 digits which makes them a real gem.

DUDE! And they're in the Gas trap era? Too bad they look re-parked, but that set outta make someone pretty dang happy.

yeah... yeah.. I saw them.... too much for my blood....about 1yr or so ago I had a chance to get a 4 digit 4 numbers off from one of my 4 digits on the CMP auction site.... funds were too low at that time to try to bid on it

The seller of these 2 receivers is a excellent member of the CSP site and is a stock repair and refinishing GOD!!! He has been trying to sell these for some time now.. they first started off as complete rifles with a LOT of the early and (in some cases correct) parts... I see that he has now stripped the rifles and selling the receivers only.....

I'd be more than willing to buy these for $1500 but not for $2500.......
