    Mommasan's Range Report

Well all I can say is she worked great. I put about 140 rounds through her and she cycled beautiful. Actions was smooth, trigger was typical and not one fail to fire. Got her zeroed in but actually took some work. Once I did it was great, honestly it felt like shooting a Russian

@25 yards. First couple of series she was shooting very high. Wasn't even hitting paper but after some tweaks finally got her in.

Did some windage adjustments too as it was shooting to the left a bit

Finally just had some fun with her at the end.

Wasn't steel that was Yugo Ammo.

Yeah not bad hu jar head? I was surprised how high it really shot though at first. I mean It was just knicking the top of the cardboard at the range. Think that is due from the re-furb processed? Never had an SKS that off before.

Arisaka? He is talking about a Chinese SKS. Just a little bit of a difference.

the term "mama-san" was coined by the GI stationed in Japan after ww2. so I assumed he was referring an Arisaka.

Yes sir I do realize that as a Jarhead but, if you were to stay updated with the thread(s), then you would have known what the subject content was about. Carry on.

The SKS is the official rifle for those of us who like to dance Gangnam style with the Momma-sans at the club.
