    karma ?
The blessings I experience every day are far better than the wrath I deserve.
Thankfully, there is no such thing as karma.
Proof being that if it did exist we would all most assuredly be dead

i'd say mapquest is close to how long it would take you if you were to stop and get gas and maybe a potty break. As you get closer to Prescott, there are a few hills/mountains you need to climb which slows your speed down quite a bit. Have a safe trip!

They will open at the posted time. Prescott is in mountain time zone. I've always gone on Saturdays and it's always been busy at opening time. Thursday should be less crowded. Don't forget to mail your C&R license if it's not already on file. Sales tax is 10%. If you are taking route 60 ( to Wickenburg and Prescott ) turn left on Kirkland Road off highway 89. Hwy 89 from Wilhoit to Prescott is a very windy road/mountain pass and you can get caught behind slow vehicles ( 25-30 mph ).

Dont come into Prescott through Wilhoit. Take the Kirkland road cuttoff before you get to Wilhoit and come in through Skull valley. I much prefer that way to get to Prescott. (I have a home there). From SD it should be about a 6.5 hour trip
        Poke'm with a stick!

When I visited J&G for the first time, I just handed them my original FFL03, and they verified it on the spot.

You can always call them and verify.

That's the way I go also. If you had time, you could stop at Cabela's, Sportsman's Warehouse, Dillon, Scottsdale Gun Club, etc. Have a safe trip.
