    Magazine ID Help

    Good evening all,

While organizing and cleaning the garage this past weekend, I came across a box of miscellaneous rifle parts that I've had for many moons.

I came across some magazines and am pretty sure they are M1 carbine mags but was hoping to get confirmation from a knowledgeable calgunner.

    There are 4:
    1 - 30 round with no markings
1 - 30 round stamped "japan" on the base and "N.V.S." on the side
    1 - 10 or 15(?) round with no markings
    1 - plastic 5 (?) round with Universal Industries

Here are some pics and 1 round that was left in a mag...

    Thanks!

They indeed appear to be aftermarket m1 carbine mags. Howa made Carbines in Japan, and Universal made a copy too.

M-1 carbine mags hold 15 rounds. M-2 & T-3 mags hold 30 rounds. Those "banana" clips are M-2/T-3 mags.

        What's that rocker shaft from?

Thanks for the info. Rockers are from a Ford 390 from a 64 t- bird.
