We are shooting any military bolt action rifle iron sights tomorrow as a special "Featured rifle" in the iron sight class.

          Bluenoise & I will be there. Bringing a Lee Enfield & a M1917.
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

Good to see all the new calguns future riflemen at the shoot today, looked like everyone had a good time and learned how to shoot the offhand position and some different equipment used, reloading tips, and generally lots of good discussion about shooting in general.

Next Saturday (2nd sat every month) is Smallbore (.22RF) silhouette (40/60/77/100 meters) rifle match and you can shoot offhand or Varmint class (off the bench front/rear rest) where wind also plays a big difference at longer distances.

If you want to learn some good iron sight alignment and prone/bench shooting at distance then come out to Gonzales (200/300/385/500 meters) the first Sat of every month, in december we are having a HP shoot and steak dinner barbecue after the match and raffling off some goodies.

In two weeks (third Sat) we shoot Sacramento valley military rifle silhouette (200/300/385/500 meters) prone off a rest shooter spotter scenario and you get to read wind direction/speed using natural surroundings and a wetted finger if you want. You will get a lot of feedback from your partner coach and figure out lots of natural condition (early/mid day light changes) shooting.

Check out the websites or contact me.
