    wWINCHESTER PRE 64 MODEL 70 257 ROBERTS

I have a winchester model 70 made in 1950 in 257 roberts. I restocked it with a fajen A grade monte carlo stock in 1983 and wonder if it would have a higher sales value with that stock or an original stock. I never shoot it and am going to sell it.Any ideas where would be the best place to sell it?

Original stock but if you retained the original that plus the Fajen will get you more $$$$$ that 257 Bob is a true collector but I think you may know that.

Any Winchester pre 64 in original configuration will bring more than if it's altered. Your .257 brings a premium too.
If you didn't get that 1950 date from myself or Bert Hartman, good chance it's wrong.

That is the latest date it could be . I will get serial number tomorrow. I got it from my father who had it starting about that time and it was used then.
