I have a Ca legal Yugo 56/66 that is in pristine codition and all matching. I have never fired it and it is a safe queen. In my downsizing housecleaning I think I will sell it. Anyone know what it is worth and should sell for?

It was sold as unissued. I can take it out and fire a few rounds of non-corrosive ammo tomorrow if that will help---DougA 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

How about better pics. I think I see some mars, and have had several of these, both brand new in cosmo and otherwise.
Edit, I take it back it is the import stamp. Yeah ask for $400 and back up a bit depending.
It is not c&r in California btw, in case you are wondering.Last edited by paul0660; 10-27-2012, 11:43 AM.*REMOVE THIS PART BEFORE POSTING*Comment

Unissued means nothing, it's only a Yugo SKS...350-275 depending on your bargaining skills and how you sell it. Fired or unfired makes no difference plus that is a myth any way. All SKS rifles have been test fired at least once as it is protocol.Comment

still proving my sig correct. See if you can get your knee out of your eye and read the thread again.*REMOVE THIS PART BEFORE POSTING*Comment

I understand about the fired part. ALL firearms are fired before sold to public including commercial brands. This is Ca legal and they are hard or next to impossible to get now. Wholesale non-ca legal ones are $330 and up plus shipping for very good grade ones. To clairify I bought it from the wholesaler unissued and it has not been shot my me. They are lisred in the catalog I get as C&R and I bought it that way also. I am not calling you a liar just this is what was done when I got it and what I see for non-Ca legal ones now.

Well I have sigs turned off but I am sure it's just another of your old man smart *** remarks that make no sense which is what I expect from you Paul.
now back on topic;
@ divernhunter. Yeah you do have a point there buddy, however Yugos aren't in demand as you think. The non CA C&R and grenade launcher scare people away. You could ask for 400..but it will sit awhile. 350 would be more reasonable plus you have to factor PPT Fees and lock fees. That's what sucks about Yugos.Comment

Thanks for the info. This one is one of the ones that had the GL removed and an approved muzzle brake installed to make it Ca legal. You just got to love the Ca BS they put us thru.---Take Care---DougA 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

I like Yugo SKS rifles and I have 2. It is inaccurate however that they are "hard or next to impossible to get now". The Yugo M59/66 is a fine shooter but it is at the low end of SKS collectability.I understand about the fired part. ALL firearms are fired before sold to public including commercial brands. This is Ca legal and they are hard or next to impossible to get now. Wholesale non-ca legal ones are $330 and up plus shipping for very good grade ones.
