To be a true Liberal, you must be 100% pro-Second Amendment. Anything less is inconsistent with liberalism.Comment

That must have been a heck of a find. Most of the Mosins I see at Big 5 are overpriced and look like they got thrown off of a roof, or perhaps were unearthed from the frozen tundra of the Steppes.Comment

You gotta keep looking, and be picky. Big 5 usually gets average condition 42-43 Izhevsk rifles...but there is occaisionally a gem in there.
On Black Thursday a couple years back I went to several big 5s, looked through at least a dozen M/Ns before I found a 37 tula with mint bore/crown. That one came home with me
Every once in a while, people find rare or very good shape M/Ns there, you jus gotta keep looking.Originally posted by GoodEyeSniperMy neighbors think I'm a construction worker named Bruce.
Little do they know that's just my stripper outfit and name.Originally posted by ChopperXI am currently cleaning it and I noticed when I squeeze the snake this white paste like substance comes out. What the heck is this crap?Originally posted by Jeff LDon't D&T a virgin milsurp rifle. You'll burn in collector hell.Comment

I'd love to have more Mosins! The first one bought as a novelty turned in 5 (four M91/30's and one M44) within a few months. Shooting them just makes it even worse! I don't have any more space and yet the allure of durable, beautiful, powerful, AND affordable C&R rifles is overpowering! You gotta keep looking, and be picky.
