sigh, mid-nineties... Turks Mausers and Mosin M-44's were $49 regularly... of course minimum wage was also $4/hour (if only I could go back and tell myself to invest in bullion and C&R...)

Buy them all now, because they aren't going to make them any more, and they certainly ain't gonna get any cheaper.

Thats right. All the panzies that whine about $400 RC K98s that are great shooters will be whining when they are $800 in another 20 years, plus getting harder to find.

Turk mausers are generally still $125-$175.

Yugo 8mm surplus is around for roughly 33 cents per round.

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

Mauser sights are poor, but the machining is better, and they don't get sticky bolt. The one I have for sale was made by slaves........not sure if that is a plus or not.

Cheap (.30 or less) 8mm is all over the place, with patience.

is my beloved Paul back now? Yes its good from a historical POV that the rifle was made from slave labor and a good reminder to today's generation of some of the atrocities committed by the 3rd Reich.

I love them all, the greasier the better!
