Just transfered my FN 49! Can anyone give me some info on it?

I'm trying to find out the caliber of this rifle... there's no indication as to which one (Ive heard this is quite common on this rifle) Is the only way to actually put different calibers in? a few guys at outdoor world said is doesn't look like a 7x57mm they were thinking 308 here's some pics, tell me what you think guys!

Show the top of the receiver or tell us what it looks like.

Need a photo of the top of the receiver closest to the barrel. There should be a crest or marking there that will help identify it.

Does it still have the muzzle break? The Venezuelan was the only model that came with one.

Yes is has the muzzle break looks like its a 7mm. bummer. Thanks for the input! how would I tell if its ever been fired? it has cosmoline in the barrel and everywhere and has no carbon deposits i could see.

7 x 57 is a great caliber.
