This unique item is rarely seen however, it must be stated that it is by far a collectors item. In my opinion it is merely a cool toy!! The receiver has been modified to accept the BAR 20rnd mags and a fixture installed to accept these mags and hold them securely and facilitate reliable feeding. I have had no issues with the mags or the weapon and the only up-grade I did to it was have it re-parked by Hawk-eye down at Knob-creek, KY in the 90's The stock is a Nigerian BM-59 stock but with a M-14 shoulder device installed on the stock end. The rest is just plain-old M-1 garand.
