    case head separation!

    took my h&r garand to the range for test fire today, 10th rnd ftf light primer strike. around # 20 case head separated completely, removed easily w/ stuck case tool. ammo was fn 55 headstamp(separated), 65 fn light strike, sooooo whatya think? ammo bad or headspace problem, rest fired great. advise please.

      Signals Possible excessive headspace. The light strike would occur with excessive headspace, and so would a case head separation.
