Very nice. Much jealousy over here. I've always wanted a Krag, especially a 6.5

Pretty... There is a Calgunner who almost convinced me to sell me his beautiful Krag, but as much as I really want it, I'm focusing on other parts of my collection for now... Will get one eventually.

Nice rifles, sold mine last year at the Reno gun show for $800 with bayonet, barrel was toasted/rough from corrosive ammo.

Bought a Danish Krag long rifle in 8x58RD with a good bore, shoots very nice with cast bullets.

                    Thanks fellas,
This one has a cherry bore. Just darn nice all the way around. It should make a great shooter. I need to buy some dies now and a mold for casting some lead for it. I bet it ends up being a great rifle for the matches in Sac. I hope.

266469 is/was my cast bullet -Round nose, 140gr, loverin style, gas check.

Strangely, my poor was rather poor as well -- as were most sold in the '50's.
There was no brass available then so brass was made from 06 or the berdan primed HVA case were reloaded.

I think the 1912 is one of the nicest Krags made -- It just seems to fit good --
