    Another C&R License Question

I recieved my C&R license last week, and from what I have read, I should have recieved a "welcome kit" or paperwork explaining California gun laws etc. When my license arrived, it didn't have anything else with it. I know I am supposed to keep a log book but I don't even know what I'm suppose to write down in it. So will this paperwork be coming later? or should I contact the ATF about it? I think it's kind of odd the ATF would issue a license with absolutely no other paperwork explaining gun laws or how I need to keep a log. TIA

The license and the "welcome" packet are shipped from two different locations, so they rarely arrive on the same day. They usually arrive a few days apart, but sometimes it can be two weeks.

My welcome kit took about 2.5 weeks longer than my license.
Alot isn't a word and allot isn't the word you think it is.

I'd really like a Colt 1903 frame, bad finish okay!
I'm also looking for a good deal on a 1911 frame or two for budget/spare parts builds.

Yep the other books come a few later,
This has a link to a blank Log book form, seems simple enough

          Bound Book example

I just got my Welcome pack this week, about 2.5 weeks after I got my license.

For a bound book I modified a spreadsheet I found elsewhere (pages 1-8 in the attached file). I just printed out the pages and put them in a 3 ring binder.

Depends on what you're planning on using your C&R for, you might want to think about looking at rifle purchases soon. Over that last few months that I've been checking it seems like the stock of rifles is dwindling (except for Mosins). At the very least, sign up for the Dealer discounts at Midway, Grafs, Brownells, and Numrich.
