Help with info on p38

I guys I found a p38 from ww2 and wanted to know if i could have this shipped into california. I am not c&r holder at this time. But would like to purchase this pistol. What would it take to get one of this into california. Thanks for any info.

If you don't currently own it, you'll have to have it shipped to an FFL and DROS it.

If you had an 03 FFL (depending on what state it was in) you might be able to go there, pick it up, bring it back and VolReg. However, you said that you weren't currently an 03, so that's a no-go.

If you want it, you're going to have to ship it to an 01 and DROS it... Sorry...
