    I Hate Mausers

    I just bought two Mausers, a 24/47 and a Yugo K98
I have not even shot them yet and I want another
I already sold one of my Mosins and my 17HMR to pay for my new addiction
And I just put my 1949 Marlin 336A up for sale and may sell my other Mosin

    I Need Help !
But will settle for another Mauser

Get yourself a Swede next. Mine is 111 years old and might be my prettiest rifle. It's probably my most accurate too.

Just wait till you start looking at Argentine and Swedish mausers... point of no return

+1 for getting a Swede. Easily the most accurate Mauser we own, maybe the most accurate rifle we own.
          Because milsurp.

That's my boy, you make me proud. Now your next move is to sell the rest of those POS mosins and buy more mausers. Think of you trading your Cadillac for a bmw/Mercedes.

Nice photos by the way, let us know when you buy that Swede Mauser

Another Love/Hate Relationship in the making...Somebody needs an Intervention & they came to the wrong place to get help!
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I love my Mausers. I look at/handle them everyday. Still have a 24/47 I need to decosmo. I've had the stock out in the sun for about a month now and it is still sweating that stuff. I had planned to refinish it, but am changing my mind. It may just be kind of attractive in all its beat up glory. My other 24/47 has really grown on me. Shoots and cycles like a dream. I have 2 Russian captures I've never fired, a matching byf 44, and a Yugo K98 as well. It was the Yugo's that got me obsessed!

I'll add this: The mauser's feel more solid, dependable and like they were engineered with more of a purpose than any bolt action I've ever handled. For me they balance and point better than Enfield's or Mosins.

I need to pick up a 24/47 and a Vz.24. I've always liked both of those.
