    8mm Score?

So I went to my local FFL here in LB (Bulls Sporting Goods) and he had this in the back of his trunk. FNM 8mm ammo that is very similar to the 8mm JS. Any one ever shot this? From what I have heard this is really good stuff

I had a couple thousand in the mid 80's, never had a problem with it.

        Wish I still had it.

Best stuff I ever shot was the Greek 198 Gr ball ammo, was 1940 dated. bought it from Century right after I bought my first Mauser. Clean shooting, brass cased, Corrosive ( but what surplus 8mm isnt)

FNM 8mm is my favorite. I have an un-opened 900rd wooden crate of it that I'm saving like its gold that is also 1972. It's non-corrosive as well.
                great find

Yes, it is hard to find now.....

that reminds me. Just a few years ago, a source(cole distributing i think) had recent FNM production 8mm. Boxer primed, 20rd boxes.

                    $0.25/round. They didnt last long.

man that is purdy. I like the little battle box it comes in so I am going to keep it. I have feeling this will shoot much better than the Yugo Surplus and that this is the 8mm or close to it that the Germans used in their JS rounds. I will test this both on my WW 98k and Yugo mauser and see how it does. I am excited!!

yeah will do. Think this stuff will shoot better than the Yugo Sniper 8mm? that stuff was pretty good. Here was my group at 100 yards with my 98k. This was surplus too.

I remember that ammo...I bought 300 rounds and wish now it had been 3000.

It was some of the most accurate 8mm ammo I've fired
...a fool and his money were lucky to get together in the first place...

It's Portuguese and real nice ammo. Some of the best surplus out there. Buy it while you can.
