    SVT-40 Accessories?

Where is the best place to find accessories for the SVT-40, such as magazines, tool kits and bayonets?

I don't know that it is the best place. But Sarco had at least slings and bayonets at reasonable prices last I looked.

"Did I say "republic?" By God, yes, I said "republic!" Long live the glorious republic of the United States of America. Damn democracy. It is a fraudulent term used, often by ignorant persons but no less often by intellectual fakers, to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive." - Westbrook Pegler

+1 on the Black River tool, it's the only repro made, that is as good, or better than an original. There's some repros that will strip the gas adjust nut, the BR tool won't.
Two other "must have" tools to have in your range bag are a broken case extractor, and a rubber mallet.

                Especially the rubber mallet! LOL

Thanks guys for the help! Will be ordering the Black River tool and a broken shell extractor this week. Any recommendations on ammo or what the gas nut should be set to?

Brass case surplus feeds and cycles better...but...usually separates more(why you get a broken case extractor).
They will cycle about anything, that's the plus of an adjustable gas system. On an unknown ammo, the safe bet is to set it at 1.1. If it doesn't extract, stand it on the butt and use your rubber mallet on the bolt handle, then turn it up to 1.2. Repeat until that ammo variety cycles without a problem.

Cessnapilot, bring it up to Spenceville on the 29th, I'll bring my SVT-40 road kit. Tools, case extractor, spare bolt, and stainless gas piston/Cyl. And rubber mallet.
