    FFLs in Contra Costa County?

Couldn't find any information on previous threads, so I apologize if this question has been asked before...

Is there a list of FFLs located in Contra Costa County that I can use to have a rifle purchased online shipped to from out of state? What can I typically expect to pay for this service? Thanks, guys!

    Here you go.

I've used Roger's Relics (in Santa Clara) in the past.

Skip Diablo Valley Gun Works in Pleasant Hill. they had an ATF audit & may not be with us much longer...
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

Canyon Sports did this the last time I had a rifle transferred.. not sure of the fee. Is Antioch Armory still in business?

There is a new shop in Brentwood just opened I have no idea what they would charge, but I'm willing to bet they would welcome the business. I'd check with Hook Line n sinker in Oakley too.

Brentwood is perfect - right in my backyard! Anyone have the contact info?

Used to frequent Antioch Gun Exchange until they closed down. The level of service that Rick and Fred gave is sorely missed!

I've had this same dilemma many times, trying to find an 01FFL here in E.CoCo County and it is frustrating to say the least! Both Antioch Armory and Hook, line & stinker will charge you over $100 for receiving a firearm, PLUS the DROS fees, etc. The best price I have found is over in Tracy at Tracy Rifle and Pistol. It's really not that far of a drive and they truly treat me with respect and act like they want my business. They usually charge me $40 plus $25 DROS so it is $65 out the door!! If you can find anyone with a better deal, let me know

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

Sorry should have put it up. It's Brentwood Armory they are at 305 Towne Center Terrace Suite N. Right where O'Hara splits into 2nd street. Check their web site or FB page for the phone number. Tracy rifle and pistol is another good bet should have though to them, and it is closer than driving to Martinez and no traffic.
Don't mention Antioch Gun Exchange, it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth as I was one of the people who lost a gun when they closed down.

                      ^^^^
so sorry to hear that! not exactly sure what happened there - i used to hang out at the store quite a bit when i was worked nights in the late 90s and was just beginning to develop an interest in firearms. then i took a job in palo alto for a year that kept me away for most of the week, and i swing by one day to say hello to my old friends only to find out that the store had closed down and that the guys didn't leave any contact information! i never particularly liked going down the street to antioch armory, as the old sniper vet that owned the place wasn't quite as friendly and wasn't as willing to answer a noob's questions.

shortly after, i acquired a taste for c&r pistols and rifles, and contra costa collectibles always made me feel like a kid in a candy store every time i walked in their door. that was also such a great place to meet and learn from the more experienced and knowledgeable collectors. it's just too bad that chuck got screwed over and had to close shop. since then, nothing as exciting has even come close in cococo...

to get back on the subject, i found a posting by scobun for a mini-group buy on classic arms 91/30 snipers. has anyone availed of his services for ffl transfers or have his contact info? looks like he's in brentwood too, and i wouldn't mind availing of his services if his fees are comparable to tracy rifle..

p.s. thanks for the info re brentwood armory
