    K31 Cheek Riser

I shot an email over to the owner of http://www.czechmauseritis.com/index.html and it appears his email is no longer valid. Is this guy still around?

If he is no longer in business, could anyone recommend a cheek riser for a k31? I am using the scout scope mount that takes the place of the rear iron sight.

    Thanks

What I've seen posted at the Swiss Rifle message board is that he's real busy and the wait is really long. I'm not sure if he is taking any new orders. I'm quite sure someone who knows him will chime is later.

Pete just moved his entire household into the new home they bought. It's worth the wait for one of his pieces, but it may take too long for you right now. Go to Brownells for a slip-on type riser.

Ahh, that explains it, several of us had no replies. Wish him good luck with the new casa and let him know he has plenty of prospective customers!

Not as elegant but will work and inexpensive from Brownells. This one is on one of my K31s.

I used a #4 T cheek piece that has worked out well.

Did you contact Pete to tell him that? I know him welll and he'd rather do the entire project again rather than have you unhappy.

I'd take 'em but I don't take presents from someone that doesn't take presents. It's a weird thing I have.

No, there's at least two. I forwarded your posts to Pete, he called the studio and let my Dad know that he's still in the middle of moving in. He wants you to know that he'll make all of it right with you as soon as he's settled in and has his leather room set up again. You don't have to keep anything you weren't happy with and "throwing it in a corner" is not a solution for him.

Cool! He'll make it right for sure.

I suggest the strap-on models at this. Different heights, on and off, goes vertical not sideways, etc. Slightly pricy but works on all my rifles from Sharps to Swiss.
