picked up my big 5 MN reproduction sniper. it is from PW ARMS. the scope and mounts are Quality parts from Russia. as close to the real thing from 1943 as possible. the rifle is not counter bored and all numbers match. it is what it is. i am not a collector . i can enjoy shooting and and not worry about its value going down. it is a 1936 IZZY . not a proper year for a PU sniper, but the pre war machine work is very nice. it works for me.

I looked at one at the local Big 5 and was surprised at how poorly the stock cutout for the mount was made. It looked like someone cut it out with a hacksaw and did a crappy job to boot... -
my cut out is very nice, somebody did a nice job on my rifle. i took it all down and inspected and cleaned it. i bore sighted it without filling or shimming the mount. i would like to put my FAKE next to a REAL sniper and compare them.Comment
