the 2 M91-30' i got from AIM Surplus for $89 each were from PW in washington state. they were nicer than my 42 Izhevsk from big5 ,but the CAI from big5 had better bore. one was 41Izhevsk and other 43 Izhevsk. i am installing PU setup on 42 Izhevsk as it shot 1/8" of center of target 1st round out. the other M91-30 from big5 is 38 Tula. had magzine feed problems. swapped magizine from M44 so i could shoot it. the M44 is best of all and was $169 from AIM. C&R03FFL is nice to have for sure.

heh, yeah.. I'm glad I bought my Mosins during the early 2000 Mosin import boom. This is an Aztec import and their marks were needle thin.

This one is a rough machined 1942 receiver with an Aztec mark. It's there, I promise.

OP: I had the same situation in OC. I got the Century from them and proceeded to get " the better import " from Turners. The pricing scheme backfired on Big 5. I spent less at Turners and got a better rifle. Further, the " cheaper " Mosin has turned out to be the better shooting rifle thus far.

However, you can still find good deals there.

century is based outta florida, pw is based out of washington
florida is a lot farther from russia than washington, ergo higher shipping cost that they then pass on to the consumer
