M1 trigger group

I am having issues with my M1 trigger. It seams like the trigger will not reset after firing. I have replaced the trigger with sear and the hammer and spring. The only thing that I havent replaced is the trigger housing. Could the trigger housing play a part in the trigger not resetting.

Maybe, but it's a simple setup. There are videos on youtube showing how the whole thing works. It almost sounds like something is put in wrong.
