How old to qualify

I would like to get a revolver from my birth year 1951. If I buy on line out of state does 1951 manufacture qualify for C & R ?

If you can prove that the gun was manufactured in 1951, (or prior to 7/29/1962) then yes, it is a C&R. Not sure what you mean by "buy on line out of state", but you can't have it shipped to you regardless of it being C&R, but it does waive the idiotic roster.

By "Prove" you need something stronger than "I read it on the internet"

If you have it shipped to a dealer out of state, yes you can pick it up and bring it home, but must send in the registration form when you bring it back to CA.
