Marlin Model 1895 C&R?

Looking at getting the Marlin Model 1895 .45-70 gov from Buds. I know it is a new productions, but I have read stuff about new production guns being made exactly the same as the originals still being counted as C&Rs? (Springfield Armory Inc. M1 Garands?) Anyways, let me know if they are C&R eligible.

No, where have you read that?

If it was made after 1962 (50+ year rule) it's not a C&R. It's a modern made firearm, regardless if it's a remake of the same model type.
Made 50 years or older means just that.

For instance, a newly made Colt 1873 SAA would not be an antique even if it's made exactly like the original.
