    6.5x55mm

    Hi all,

I'm about to come into possession of an AG42B (Courtesy of Empire Arms) but I unfortunately lack any ammunition for it. Could any of you recommend a good place to buy some? Or even some basic goods/bads of the different ones available?

    Cheers.

Try the Prvi Partizan from AimSurplus or Palmetto State Armory if you are gonna order online. Dunno where you are but in SoCal most shops are only gonna have one or two choices in 6.5x55 and the prices aren't too great.

BTW owning a 6.5x55 Swede rifle is a great reason to get started on reloading.

Welcome to the AG42 club! I've shot Prvi through mine with no problems. Aim Surplus would be a start. Keep an eye out at gun shows, the large ammo dealers sometimes have good deals as well(once shipping is figured in).

Yikes. Yeah, it's definitely not cheap at all. But thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Also, Any idea where to get some stripper clips for them?

Samcoglobal.com has a box of 40 stripper clips for $10. I got mine from them years ago. Enjoy your AG42B.

Graff & Sons has ammo also. You might check at Ammoman.com Remember there prices include the shipping
