BNIB all Matching m48 Yugo Mauser for 100+tax and dros out the door in a local shop in Oceanside.

Cleaned all the cosmo out and it brings me joy knowing I have mauser (another one) and a 100 dollar rifle that can shoot circles around your precious Big5/AIM/SOG mosins for about the same price. Comes with mint bayo, ammo pouches, cleaning kit, crown cover, rifle pad, and cleaning rod.

no that was it. It was by fluke luck too, when I asked if they had any mausers they said the UPS guy just dropped it off. So I had to wait the full 30 days because of the law. Picked up last week on my way to SD.

However on the rack I saw another Yugo Mauser and k31's for about 200 bucks. Still a good deal, there was a vz24 they had as well, but it was a sewer pipe and I passed.

yeah indoor range to function test it. Yugo 8mm and Yugo mauser work great. Plan on shooting it in Angeles soon to make some music at the 500-600 yard lines. I know my mauser will out shoot your 91/30 :P

My M48 is a POS. I might try lapping or polishing compound on the locking lugs to loosen it. Definitely one of my biggest disappointments.

It may... but I can consistently get 91/30s for less than 100 with my 03 FFL. So there :P

bummer. i wanted to buy one and part it out . i could use barrel to prop up my tomato plant. make enough money to buy 2 or 3 more mosin nagant M91-30's or a couple more mosin nagant M44 . i have 2 MN 91-30 and 1 MN M44 and 2 more MN 91-30's that will be here thursday. i need more before the nov elections..

I must admit, whoever called their m48 a pig is right. Hahah big SOB and stiff bolt but still fun.

Does the bolt/receiver have matching numbers? Mine did not. I've heard quality control on the later M48A's and M48BO's was a little better and therefore smoother rifles. My 24/47's are smooth.

Nice find. Every time I'm about to take a sip of that Mauser Kool-aid I am slapped in the mug by the reality of 8mm ammo prices and I pass.

Nice score. I'd buy that in a heartbeat for that price. But it's one of those 'once in a life time' finds. Cheapest I've seen Yugos at Big 5 within last decade was $149 about 7-8 years ago
