All I found were practice rounds, that 16 inch stuff is pricey. 16 inch inert

It's over 50 years old, so it's good to go. Make sure to line to bore to reduce the caliber to below .60", so you don't have to get a CA DD permit for it

My C&R has been nothing but trouble...

It keeps putting guns in my gun safe.

Over 50 years old is over 50 years old. It dodesn't need to be on the list. Just go buy it. No DROS, no Ca wait time. Just get your CA DD Collector's permit and jump though the NFA hoops. No problem owning it in CA! You might need a bigger safe though.

I no longer refer to it as a "C&R". The correct nomenclature is "C$R"...

Looks like it would make a very good home defense gun. Clean up would be a PIA though.

HEHE, just having some fun guys here......if you guys have a chance, go see the USS Iowa in San Pedro. This was a small dream come true to walk the decks of this great ship. I was awestruck, it was like meeting your favorite singer of all time! Highly recommended.

Would that be classified as antique, since it doesn't fire a fixed cartridge?
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.
