Steyr M95 En block Clips and ammo.

    Hey gents,

I just purchased a lovely m95 from my local shop in Nor Cal and I was wondering if any users know of anybody in the Nor Cal region that stocks the elusive 8x56r (bonus points if its prvi) or would carry any of the old clips. I have seen them online but some of the prices seem like extortion and I don't trust paypal anymore so ebay is out of the question.

Any information helps, so thanks in advance!

IIRC, those enbloc clips are somewhat rare, so they command a higher price. Ammo is a bit hard to find "on the shelf", so I think the best bet would be to try to set up a group buy and order a case of Prvi from Midway, or something. Also, if you can get 7.62x54R brass, you can reload it as 8x56R...

Where in Nor Cal are you?

Try Palmetto State or Wideners, maybe even AIM surplus.

Sacramento area amigo. I realize they are kinda rare now just they are not 10 dollars a piece rare. I got 4 for them for 20 so 5 a piece I think is fair.

I have some clips with surplus ammo in them, Bulgarian I'm told, $10 each. If you want some with Nazi ammo, $25 each. I shot our M95 with the Bulgarian, no problems.

There was an old geezer at the last Vallejo show that had a box full of WWII clips with German ammo, I think he was only asking $5 each.

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

I don't really want to sell the German stuff.
