    Also, don't forget about the CMP Krags. It says on the website that they're "junk" but I have 2 that are safely headspaced, shootable and surprisingly accurate.

      My service grade SA looked practically new. Very pleased. Wear measurements of 2/1.
      I couldn't be happier for $625. It's a '55 with original barrel.

        See, your SA SG looks pretty much comparable with my Service Special and you paid a lot less. Nice looking gun.

          Thanks. Yours is beautiful.
          I guess it just depends what you want. Yours will probably retain value a lot better, but mine is for shooting anyway, and I spent the rest on ammo. If it's worth what I bought it for in a few years and I want to sell it, I'll be happy. Not really an investment for me.
