    Bound Book Question

Just a question, do you guys place the original SN# in your book or the importers SN#. On my weapons excel spreadsheet on my computer I make a note of both. But what should I put in ATF book?

If the importer stamps a new serial on the firearm then that's the one you record in your bound book.

Thanks I just recently got 5 C&R weapons from J&G in Arizona and all had importer placed SN#s on them. I had not run into that. Buy the way their store is kinda cool and I had such a great feeling walking out the door with what I bought right away. No weapons jail time is a beautiful thing.

I got three 91/30's, one CZ-82, and one soviet 1895 revolver. Plus ammo and some targets Beautiful guns

        Congrats on your new purchases.

FYI, in case you didn't already know....If you returned to CA with the CZ-82 and the Nagant revolver, you need to fill out a report/reg form and send $19.00 to the DOJ for each C&R handgun.

Thanks, I did know that, I am gonna send it in this week to DOJ. I think the 19.00 per handgun is steep, it would be in their best interest to keep it free to encourage compliance.
