    Mosin ex-PE sniper?

So I picked up a 1935 hex tula 91/30 from a member of calguns. Upon looking at the receiver on both sides there are 3 holes, over the hex between the barrel shank and breach, that have been filled in. After seeing this http://www.russian-mosin-nagant.com/sniper_9130PEM.html the holes are in the same position as the top mounted PE sniper rifles.

Does anyone have an example of a top mounted ex sniper that I can compare mine too?

How collectible is this rifle if it is an ex-PE? Rifle is counterbored with matching numbers and has no markings above tula star.

    Thanks for your input.

Pics? It sounds like an ex-PE, odd there is no "CH" though.

Ex-PE rifles are fairly uncommon, they don't show up often.

Ex PE snipers are not common although it seems, to me anyways, 1935 is usually the year you find when you find one. I have seen other ex Tula snipers that are not CH or CN marked but that is definatly not the norm.

Are you looking for a scoped or unscoped example?

Doesn't matter I just want to confirm this is an ex-PE and take a look at some of the markings. Do you have any idea what it is worth?

This is the best pic I have of my restored Ex PE (wouldnt ya guess, its a 1935 Tula!) Mine is marked with the CN markes. I know its tough to see but you can barely make out the 3 screws holding on the scope mount base. As far as value for yours? I would guess $150-175, maybe more to the right person.

That repo looks really nice. It seems odd that my rifle doesn't have any marks above the tula star. I appreciate your input.

                    Thanks!

Yep, it's Ex-PE. I agree with cruddymutt, $150-$175 is the norm. I have seen ex-pe rifles go in the $200-$225 range though.
