I'm in the process of "sporterizing" my mosin nagant. While I wait for all the things I ordered, I figured I would try to smooth out the action. Suprisingly I did and it is alotbetter than before. I went nowhere near the trigger assembly!!! As im putting things back I find that the (dont know what you call it) Pin that goes in the trigger was out. My wife ended up finding it. I put it back in, And Put the rest in the stock. I then find out that the trigger is floppy. It still works but it is really floppy. It will go foward and backwards without slack until break. It wasnt like that before. Does anyone have any ideas? I swear I went nowhere near the trigger.

Cut a piece of a wire coat hanger to match the width needed. That should do the trick I would think.
Now that I think of it, that's the exact question someone asked about 2 months back. I believe they used wire as well to fix it successfully.
EDIT, Sorry, I didn't read you had found it. This was a suggestion for a makeshift pin.Last edited by KaemosFiveZero; 07-07-2012, 12:29 PM.Alexander Pawelczyk

Can you charge more for "tactical ninja stripes"? -
drill 2 holes on barrel and trigger out to .166" and cut off long enough piece of non fluted end of drill to make new pin. it will have about .001" clearance and will not "flop around" .. was there a mouse trap spring on trigger pin to make it 2 stage that fel out with trigger pin? go to www.smith-sights.com and read what josh smith has done to his 37 IzhevskLast edited by billmaykafer; 07-07-2012, 5:22 AM.MOLON LABEComment
