Not you! All of the guys who ordered them a couple of weeks ago. I am curious what kind of shape these were in. I would have bought one but money is tight and I have already expended my gun slush fund for this year. So I need to live vicariously through all of you!NRA Certified Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor, Shotgun Instructor and Range Safety Officer

HAHAHA you are in a C&R time warp... the M44s were made available exactly one week ago. I placed my order last Friday (along with several other members here) and the guns are due to arrive today, 7 days later. You will be getting many good pics sir, just hold tight!Comment

sent my handpick back, worst possible bore ever seen in my 5 years of collecting. Aim was really good about it, apologized and payed for return shipping, they admitted they just don't select for bore condition. Couldn't even see through it, and couldn't get a cleaning rod through it either. these guns are build really strong, but firing a round through this guy would be asking for trouble...Bummer.
Do hope my ordered snipers are a different story

Sorry to hear that Vincent.
I inspected my handpick and it has near perfect rifling, no counterbore, open barrel. I would almost think the barrel was never used.
The stock I would give a 7/8 out of 10. Nice orange/redish color, couple of dings, but still quite nice.
I wrapped it up in black trach bag and stuck it in the attic for a period of time now. Unfortunately it is only 90 degrees right now. Last time I did this the temp was over 100 outside so it worked out well.NRA Life Member

Bummer about the bore above OP- I opted for the hand pick and so far pretty stoked. Below is some shots not 5 minutes after Mr Brown left for happy hour.

Vincent, sorry to hear about your troubles! Sounds like AIM is taking care of you though, which is typical of them, they are one of the best.
