You have to watch the firing pins in these. Do not dryfire it, as they have cast steel pins that can and will break. Ask me how I know this.
The good news is that they have newly made machined ones available online. I would also not use the Czech SMG ammo in them. These guns are built like tanks, but running them with +P+ rounds like that just isn't advisable. I have always liked mine. The Toks fit my hand better, but the CZs are just cooler. The machining if first-class.
As for the round, even the standard stuff will go through a IIA vest. Heck, it will normally go through a IIIA vest as well. I know, as I have done that. I have been working with a friend who is starting up an armor company. He gets his armor from China. They have an extra level above IIIA that will stop Tokarev rounds over there. When you buy soft panels, you can get them as IIIA or buy the next level up that they call Tokarev-rated.
