    CG-80?

    Can anyone identify this rifle? It looks a bit like a CG 80, with a scope mounted and perhaps the barrel trimmed.

    Identified as a "Custom Swedish Mauser in 6.5x55"

    It could well be. The stock looks very close to my CG80. The CG80 did not have a long barrel. 26" was pretty standard. Not like the long barrels on the CG63s.

        From another forum...apparently there was a plastic stock CG-80 and this appears to be one.

        For some time I have wanted to collect info on the CG80. Recently the model has been up for discussion here and many questions has not been sufficiently answered. Hasnt found so much written about the CG80 in the usual sources that we have acess to. Therefore I have gone through MANY numbers of...
